Mentor Me Turns 10!
Mentor Me North Georgia is gearing up to celebrate its 10th year anniversary!
A celebration breakfast is scheduled for January 10, from 7 to 9 am. “We want to pay tribute to those who have helped us over the years, contributed to the success of our programs and to those who volunteer their time and resources to aid our children,” Cardona adds. The event takes place at Forsyth Lanier Conference Center in Cumming. Tickets are available for $15 per person.
“We are very excited to mark our 10th year serving the children of Forsyth and North Georgia counties. Over the years, our programs have grown to keep pace with the needs of our communities,” explains Sylvia Cardona, Executive Director of Mentor Me North Georgia. In 2002, 30 children were mentored by dedicated volunteers. This year, over 370 children have been mentored, with a total of 770 children served since 2002.
